Ben Rifkin told his parents he would “go west” from Maine at 11 years old. Having lived and worked in Jackson Hole, Vail and Denver, he settled in Park City with his wife and two children. Ben currently serves as Venture Manager for Royal Street Investment and Innovation Center, a Park City-based seed stage investor. He also manages the Park City Angels, Utah’s most active seed funding organization, and mentors with BoomStartup and PC CAPS.

Prior to moving to Utah, Ben was a publisher at Bonnier Corporation, leading the SKI, Skiing and Skiing Business brands and held management roles with Warren Miller Entertainment, NASTAR, Saveur and Garden Design. He has also worked as president and GM of the Colorado Avalanche's “AA” affiliate Denver Cutthroats and led marketing and operations for the USA Pro Challenge and Consumer Capital Partners, a private equity and concept development firm, as senior vice president. Ben completed undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College, majoring in Creative Writing, and competed on the alpine ski team.
